1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SychTest (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SychTest provides online psychological and personality self-assessments based on established instruments. After you complete an assessment, your responses are scored against the instrument’s published thresholds, and you may optionally unlock an AI-generated interpretation and a downloadable report. We may add, modify, or remove assessments and features at any time.

3. Not Medical or Clinical Advice

The assessments and reports are provided for informational, educational, and self-reflection purposes only. They are not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Service. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service lawfully and to provide accurate information where requested. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, or reproduce, resell, or redistribute its content without permission.

5. Payments and Access

Taking an assessment and viewing your scores is free. Unlocking the full AI-written report and its downloadable PDF is a one-time purchase. Prices are shown at checkout, and payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. Once you have completed a purchase and, if you choose, associated it with a free account, that single purchase unlocks the full report for the assessments you take, as described at the point of sale. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and generated reports, is owned by SychTest or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use your own reports for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved, and no part of the Service may be copied or exploited except as expressly permitted.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results and interpretations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SychTest and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from decisions or actions you take based on the Service or its results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
